BLUEFIELD, Va. (AP) -- A Bluefield, Va., family has donated their collection of railroad artifacts to the city.

The Ratcliffe family's collection includes a coal-burning caboose stove, three signal tower ornaments, coal shovels and several coal buckets.

James Martin Ratcliffe Jr. tells the Bluefield Daily Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1dHrUHo ) that his father, J.M. Ratcliffe Sr., worked for Norfolk & Western for about 10 years at the company's coaling station in Hemphill, W.Va.

City workers took the family's collection to the former Bluefield Automobile Club building.
