WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Maryland man has been sentenced to six years in prison for assaulting a woman after she passed out at a party in her home.
Twenty-eight-year-old Antawon Randall of Capitol Heights was also ordered to register as a sex offender at sentencing in D.C. Superior Court on Friday. He had pleaded guilty to sexual abuse in July.
According to government evidence, the victim and her husband had a party on Sept. 8, 2012. Prosecutors say the woman drank too much alcohol and passed out.
Prosecutors say Randall waited until the woman's husband left for work, then sneaked into her bedroom and sexually her while she was unconscious.
