NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) -- New Castle County Police have arrested a man they say burglarized homes in which he had done odd jobs.
Twenty-six-year-old Patrick Lynerd of Elkton, Md., was arrested last week and charged with burglary, theft and other offenses. He waived extradition and is being held on $23,000 secured bond.
Police say they linked Lynerd to burglaries after finding flyers he distributed seeking work as a handyman. Officers say the owner of one home that Lynerd had worked in reported jewelry had been taken from the residence.
