CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Three people are dead after two shootings in southwestern Virginia that police are describing as an apparent murder-suicide.
The Roanoke Times reports (http://bit.ly/1afBgL0 ) that 36-year-old Derek Scott Roberson was found dead at his Christiansburg home Friday evening.
Less than an hour later, 45-year-old Barry Roberson of Pulaski and 69-year-old Clinton Morris of Christiansburg were found dead in Pulaski.
Christiansburg police Maj. Dalton Reid says Derek Roberson is the stepson of Morris, and both lived at the home where the first shooting occurred. The relationship between the Robersons is unclear.
