RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Richmond authorities have recovered a man's body from a car that plunged into the James River.
Media outlets report that crews pulled the car from the river Wednesday.
Witnesses told police that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it ran off a dock near Rocketts Landing around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Rescuers suspended a search Tuesday night because of poor visibility and returned Wednesday morning.
