LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Liberty University has completed the transformation of a former Sears store.
The university says about 675 employees have been moved from Green Hall to the site at Lynchburg's River Ridge Mall. It took five weeks to complete extensive renovations.
The university bought the building last year for nearly $7 million.
For now, the 112,000-square-foot building is being used for Liberty University's online programs and as a School of Communications and Creative Arts television studio.
