PALMER PARK, Md. (AP) -- Three Prince George's County men are accused of dozens of copper thefts that police say caused more than $700,000 in damage.
Police announced the arrests of the three Landover men on Thursday, accusing them in 82 cooper thefts.
The men are identified as 24-year-old Marlon Glenn, 21-year-old Sean Wesley Sibley and 25-year-old Marco Samuel Howard. Online court records don't list lawyers for any of the men.
Police say the men stole copper tubing and PVC fittings from dozens of apartment building units, then scrapped the copper at an area business.
Police say Howard and Glenn face charges of third- and fourth-degree burglary and theft, while Sibley is charged with first-degree burglary and related charges.
