CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Prosecutors say there'll be no charges stemming from the fatal shooting of a 10-year-ld Crozet girl.
The Albemarle County Commonwealth's Attorney says in a report that there's no evidence suggesting Maggie Hollifield's death was the result of recklessness or intentional.
Hollifield was shot May 21 inside a home in Crozet. The report says a shotgun accidentally fired as a 13-year-old boy was cleaning and repairing it. The shotgun's safety wasn't engaged at the time of the shooting.
