ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Three top administrators at the Baltimore City Detention Center have finished polygraph tests in the aftermath of 25 federal indictments at the facility in a contraband conspiracy case.
The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services provided an update on a follow up review on Wednesday.
The department says that 65 more correctional supervisors will be subject to polygraph tests within days.
The department also says every detainee at the facility is being evaluated for potential security threats. The department also says 25 suspected gang leaders and dangerous detainees had been moved out to other facilities in the three months prior to the federal indictments.
The indictments announced last week included 13 female correctional officers and seven inmates.
