PIKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- The Maryland State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration want your unused or expired prescription drugs.
The two agencies are beginning a partnership on Saturday to take back unneeded prescription drugs in an effort to keep them out of the wrong hands.
Police say the majority of teenagers abusing prescription drugs are getting them from the family medicine cabinet.
Maryland State Police barracks from throughout the state will accept these medications for safe disposal between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
