WASHINGTON -- Authorities say the body of a man was found in the Potomac River in the Georgetown area.
The discovery Wednesday afternoon was the fourth time this month that a body has been found in a waterway in Washington. D.C. police say there is no apparent connection between the cases. Police say there are no signs of foul play in at least two of the previous incidents.
The body was sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy and identification.
The most recent body was found shortly after noon Wednesday. It was floating in the water west of the Key Bridge.
