WINCHSTER, Va. (AP) -- High-end furniture maker Henkel-Harris has a new owner and could resume operations in April.
The Northern Virginia Daily (http://bit.ly/10FCLfd ) reports that A.G. Capital LLC bought the 67-year-old Winchester company earlier this month. A.G. Capital is owned by the Gum family, which also owns National Fruit Co.
Henkel-Harris had shut down at the end of 2012.
National Fruit Co. president, CEO and chairman David Gum says the company wants to get the plant up and running as soon as possible.
Scott Hovermale will serve as the chief restructuring officer. He says the company will rehire as many laid-off workers as possible.
