RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Virginia will be the site of Integrated Technologies Limited's first office in the United States.
The Greater Richmond Partnership, Inc. and Hanover County announced Monday that ITL plans to open an office in Ashland on May 1.
Based in Kent, England, the company will operate in the U.S. as ITL (Virginia) Inc.
ITL is a contract designer, developer and manufacturer. It specializes in medical, diagnostic, analytical, precision electro-mechanical and laboratory instrumentation.
ITL chief executive officer Tom Cole says the greater Richmond area has more than 200 life science companies. He calls it a particularly suitable environment for his company.
Thomas Jull will lead ITL (Virginia) Inc. as vice president of operations. He's been with ITL since 2007.
