NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Sections of Interstates 264 and 64 in Norfolk are open again following pothole repairs.
Authorities closed portions of the interstates on Friday after several motorists' vehicles got flat tires.
The Virginia Department of Transportation says contractors worked throughout the weekend to repair potholes. The closed highway sections reopened at 5 a.m. Monday.
VDOT spokeswoman Jennifer Gwaltney tells WAVY-TV (http://bit.ly/Z52b7B ) that the contractors made good progress. She couldn't say how many potholes were patched.
