7 chosen for induction into Va. Sports Hall

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) - Former NFL players Robert Pratt, Cornell Brown and Lawrence Burton headline this year's class of seven inductees into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.
Others chosen by a statewide committee include former University of Richmond basketball coach Dick Tarrant, ex-James Madison athletic director Dean Ehlers, Roanoke College basketball standout Franklin Allen, and Virginia Tech sportscaster Bill Roth.
Tickets went on sale Monday for the April 27 induction ceremony in Portsmouth.
