WASHINGTON - Police have arrested an Olney man in connection with the shooting Tuesday afternoon that left another man in grave condition.

Montgomery County police arrested Damacrius Damone Grays, 19 and charged him with attempted first degree murder. He was arrested without incident.

Police believe Grays and the victim knew one another and had a disagreement.

Police are not identifying the victim.

WHEATON, Md. - Montgomery County police say a 21-year-old man was gravely wounded by a gunshot in a Wheaton park.

The man was found shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Northgate Park. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say a possible suspect was seen in the area at the time of the shooting. Investigators believe there was some association between the shooter and the victim.
