Homeowner shot during robbery in Fort Washington

FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County police say a homeowner was shot by invaders in Fort Washington.
Police say multiple people entered the home around 2 a.m. Tuesday and demanded money and jewelry. A man who lives in the home confronted them, and he was shot in the back.
The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The robbers fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
