FOREST, Va. - Police in Virginia are looking for those responsible for the theft of a church's nativity scene.
Bedford County sheriff's Capt. Mike Miller says the theft occurred at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Forest.
The nativity scene was discovered missing Monday morning. The News & Advance ( http://bit.ly/TZ2k5B) reports the only part of it that wasn't taken was a lamb and the manger.
Church council chairman Kenneth Revis hopes the nativity scene is returned in time for Christmas. He says, "You just don't steal from Jesus and get away with it."
