WASHINGTON - Jeffrey Zients, the acting head of the Office of Management and Budget, will light the National Menorah near the White House.
The lighting ceremony is scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m., the second day of the eight-day Hannukah holiday, which begins Saturday night.
President Jimmy Carter attended the first menorah lighting in 1979. President Ronald Reagan dubbed it the "National Menorah."
