WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) - Westminster will be getting two new street sweepers.
The mayor and Common Council approved the purchase on Monday. The two sweepers will cost a total of more than $300,000.
Director of Public Works Jeff Glass tells the Carroll County Times ( http://bit.ly/Ty2rcL) that the equipment should arrive in a few months.
The city is considering selling the old sweepers, which could generate $20,000.
