CAMBRIDGE, Md. - A Cambridge man has been sentenced to more than 84 years in prison for 10 burglaries he committed in the West End.
Twenty-three-year-old Tavonte Johnson was also ordered to pay nearly $20,000 in restitution for the crimes at sentencing recently.
The burglaries occurred between August 2011 and March 2012.
The Star Democrat of Easton ( http://bit.ly/OtmMwX) reports that Dorchester County State's Attorney William H. Jones said the long sentence should serve as a deterrent to anyone who would consider committing such crimes.
