A violent night in D.C.

WASHINGTON - D.C. police are investigating three homicides that occurred within a span of 2 1/2 hours.
The slayings occurred miles apart, and police say they've gotten no indication that they are related. All three victims lived in the District of Columbia.
The first occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday in Northeast Washington. Two men were stabbed, one of whom died. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Charles Scott Jr..
Less than an hour later, police say two men were shot in Northwest Washington. Thirty-year-old Michael Jones was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim was treated at a hospital and released.
Then, shortly after midnight, police responded to a double shooting in Southeast Washington. Twenty-two-year-old Davon Brown died at the scene, while another victim was taken to a hospital.
