DANVILLE, Va. - Danville police say a shooting at a restaurant has left one man dead and a woman injured.

Police tell media outlets that the shooting occurred at 1:45 a.m. Saturday at the Highlander Restaurant Lodge and Pub.

A Danville police news release says 23-year-old Adrian Rashad Wimbush died at a hospital, while a 39-year-old woman was treated and released. Both are Danville residents.

Danville police are seeking the public's help on the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
