ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A measure to permit table games like craps at Maryland casinos and to allow a casino in Prince George's County will be taken up in the Maryland Senate.

The Senate is scheduled to convene at 10 a.m. Friday to begin considering amendments and debate the bill on the second day of a special session.

A Senate committee voted 11-1 on Thursday in favor of the measure.

Gov. Martin O'Malley's administration has submitted the bill to raise more revenue for the state and create jobs.

The O'Malley administration says the proposed changes would generate more than $200 million annually for the state, once all the changes are implemented. The Prince George's casino could not open until 2016.
