FAIRFAX CITY, Va. (AP) - Fairfax City Police have identified a man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run and are searching for his family.
Police say 33-year-old Mohammad Jabour was hit by an SUV while walking on a Fairfax Boulevard sidewalk about 10:40 p.m. Friday. Police say Jabour was thrown more than 50 feet into a parked vehicle. The SUV left the scene.
Police say Jabour was taken to a hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.
Authorities say Jabour has no fixed address and that they have not been able to locate his family or the driver of the vehicle.
