Clara Barton office in downtown D.C. to be museum

The downtown District office of Clara Barton, where she led an effort to trace missing soldiers from the Civil War before she founded the American Red Cross, will soon become a museum, The Washington Post reported.

The National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, Md., will lead the effort after signing an agreement with the General Services Administration to open the Clara Barton’s Missing Soldiers Office Museum.
