T.C. Williams High School to offer free SAT prep courses

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Students at T.C. Williams High School will be able to get free SAT and ACT prep programs this spring.

The classes will be offered to juniors, and will likely be taught by an outside company.

The Alexandria Times reports administrators hope to turn around scores that have dipped the last two years – even as more students in the school have taken the SAT.

A state study shows 55 percent of T.C. Williams graduates the last two years went on to college — below the state average of 62 percent.
