CHANTILLY, Va. - Authorities say an airline passenger at Washington Dulles International Airport has been arrested after they found almost a pound of heroin in his stomach.
According to documents filed in U.S District Court in Alexandria, 61-year-old Adekunle Titus Adetokunbo flew to Dulles from Ghana on Thursday. Adetokunbo told customs officials in a "rambling" manner that he intended to buy computers, clothing and vehicles.
Court documents say an officer patted him down and that Adetokunbo flinched when his stomach was touched. Adetokunbo was taken to a hospital for an X-ray, which revealed foreign items.
Documents say that Adetokunbo expelled pellets, which tested positive for heroin in a field test.
