WASHINGTON - District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray has unveiled plans for a new pavilion on the campus of St. Elizabeths Hospital in southeast Washington.
The East Gateway Pavilion will be a place to dine and will also offer a farmers' market and other weekend arts and cultural events. It's part of a massive redevelopment project on the St. Elizabeths campus.
Gray said Saturday that the pavilion would be designed by an alliance of firms _ KADCON, Davis Brody Bond and Robert Silman Associates.
