RICHMOND, Va. - Delegate Joseph D. Morrissey's law license has been reinstated by the Virginia Supreme Court.
The Richmond Times Dispatch ( http://bit.ly/JzRaif) says the court voted 4-3 on Friday to reinstate the Henrico Democrat's law license, if he meets certain requirements.
The court's decision says Morrissey has already completed one of the requirements. He passed the written portion of the Virginia State Bar examination in February.
Morrissey lost his law license in 2003 for failing to notify clients that his law license had been suspended in 2000.
A Virginia State Bar Disciplinary panel had recommended that the court deny his reinstatement.
