CHICAGO (AP) -- The Miami Heat's winning streak is now nine after they pummeled the Chicago Bulls 86-67 behind LeBron James' 26 points and 12 rebounds. The Bulls have lost five of seven and largely stood pat as the NBA trading deadline passed yesterday.

MARANA, Ariz. (AP) -- The snow is gone from the Match Play Championship, and so are Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods. In stunning upsets yesterday, Shane Lowry made a 4-foot par putt on the 18th hole to eliminate McIlroy while Charles Howell III beat Woods, 2 and 1.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Kevin Harvick and Kyle Bush won the two 150-mile Budweiser Duel qualifying races to earn spots in Sunday's season-opening Daytona 500 field. They'll be starting behind pole-sitter Danica Patrick, the first woman to win the Daytona 500 pole.

TORONTO (AP) -- James van Riemsdyk (REEMS'-dyk) scored two goals to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs past the Buffalo Sabres 3-1 last night, spoiling the NHL head coaching debut of Ron Rolston. Rolston was hired as the Sabres interim coach following the club's decision to fire Lindy Ruff, who had been Buffalo's coach since 1997.

UNDATED (AP) -- In the surest sign that spring is just around the corner, there are four major league spring training games opening the Grapefruit and Cactus League schedules today. Detroit plays Atlanta today in Kissimmee, Fla., while three games in Arizona are also on the calendar.
