OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens appear to be a much better team than the one got manhandled by Denver in the season opener.

After losing 49-27 on Sept. 5, the defending Super Bowl champions have since defeated Cleveland and Houston behind a defense that hasn't yielded a touchdown over a span of eight quarters.

The difference, according to coach John Harbaugh, is that the players on the retooled roster are finally beginning to mesh.

Harbaugh said Monday, "We've really made as much progress as we could make. We're on our way."

He attributes the improvement to the team's attitude and work ethic. Harbaugh said, "I'd proud of these guys, the way they've worked and the way they've approached the job."

The Ravens play the Buffalo Bills on the road Sunday.
