Ravens OT Ogden enters Hall of Fame

Saturday - 8/3/2013, 9:00pm  ET

CANTON, Ohio (AP) -- Jonathan Ogden has become the first Baltimore Raven inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The huge offensive tackle was the Ravens' first draft pick after the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore following the 1995 season. The 6-foot-9, 345-pound Ogden, selected fourth overall in that draft, moved directly into the lineup and became the anchor of the Ravens' offensive line for a dozen seasons.

The first member of the Class of 2013 enshrined Saturday night, Ogden made the hall in his first year of eligibility. He was a six-time All-Pro, made the Pro Bowl 11 times and was the main blocker when Jamal Lewis rushed for 2.066 yards in 2003.

He was presented by the man who drafted him, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, himself a Hall of Famer as a tight end.
