ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- London Fletcher hasn't faced anything like the offense the Philadelphia Eagles will unleash on Monday night.
The 16th-year veteran linebacker will be in charge of keeping the defense organized when the Redskins host the Eagles in both teams' season opener.
The game marks the NFL debut of coach Chip Kelly, who piled up plays and points at the University of Oregon. The Eagles ran a league-high 74.25 plays from scrimmage per game during preseason, offering a taste of what's to come.
Fletcher has faced up-tempo quarterbacks such as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, but he says the Eagles have "a unique style."
Says Fletcher: "It's definitely a situation where we're going to have to have great communication come Monday night."
