STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES — Bills above .500 through seven games for only fourth time since 2000, and first since 2011 — when they opened 5-2 but finished 6-10. … Bills coming off first victory under new owners Terry and Kim Pegula, getting 2-yard TD catch by rookie WR Sammy Watkins with 1 second left to beat Vikings. … QB Kyle Orton has won two of three starts since replacing EJ Manuel. He’s thrown for 890 yards with five TDs and three INTs for 92.5 rating. He joined Oakland’s Jeff George (1997) as only QBs to have three straight games with 283-plus yards passing in first three starts with a team. … RB C.J. Spiller out indefinitely — and could miss rest of season — after having surgery Monday to repair collarbone injury, while co-starter Fred Jackson could miss up to four weeks with groin injury. Backups Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown expected to carry load. Dixon rushed for 51 yards after Spiller and Jackson went out vs. Vikings. … Watkins, No. 4 overall draft pick last May, had career highs with nine catches, 122 yards receiving and two TD receptions. … Marcell Dareus leads NFL DTs with seven sacks, including two last week vs. Vikings. … Jets have lost six straight, longest skid in coach Rex Ryan’s six-year tenure. … New York acquired WR-KR Percy Harvin from Seattle last week for conditional draft pick, adding dynamic — but injury-prone — playmaker to passing offense that ranks second worst in NFL. Harvin expected to return kicks and could play role on offense vs. Bills. … QB Geno Smith had first game of season without a turnover, throwing for 226 yards and a TD vs. Patriots. His seven TDs rushing tie him with Carolina’s Cam Newton for most by a QB since start of 2013 season. … RB Chris Ivory rushed for season-high 107 yards and TD at New England. Among RBs with at least 50 carries this season, Ivory ranks first in NFL with 3.1 yards after contact. Teammate Chris Johnson ranks fourth with 2.6. Ivory also tied with Dallas’ DeMarco Murray for league lead with eight broken tackles. … Jace Amaro leads rookie TEs with 27 catches and 234 yards receiving. … Jets have forced opponents into three-and-outs on 27 of 82 possessions, an NFL-leading 32.9 percentage.
