UNDATED (AP) -- The first of today's NFL playoff games is being played in Houston as the Texans are playing host to the Bengals. DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Duke has upped its record to 14-0. The No. 1 team in the Associated Press men's poll defeated Wake Forest this afternoon, 80-62, as Ryan Kelly and Seth Curry each had 22 points.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Today's lone bowl game is the Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Ala. The contest features a pair of 6-6 teams as Pittsburgh is playing Mississippi.

NEW YORK (AP) -- There is hope for optimism for hockey fans as negotiators in the NHL labor dispute are back at the table, meeting face-to-face. The federal mediator involved in the talks spoke with both sides earlier today and then brought them together for a session.

KAPALUA, Hawaii (AP) -- The opening round of the Tournament of Champions has been postponed until Sunday. Play was wiped out Friday because of unplayable conditions, caused by strong winds.
