First-round playoff pairings...Redskins ride 7-game win streak into playoffs

UNDATED (AP) -- The Cincinnati Bengals open the NFL playoffs on the road next Saturday at Houston in an AFC wild-card matchup. That game will be followed by an NFC wild-card game between Minnesota and Green Bay, a rematch of yesterday's Vkings' 37-34 victory over the Pack.

UNDATED (AP) -- Next Sunday, the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens will host the Indianapolis Colts, whose head coach Chuck Pagano rejoined them yesterday following months of treatment for cancer treatments. The NFC East champion Washington Redskins ride a seven-game winning streak into the playoffs when they host Seattle next Sunday afternoon.

DENVER (AP) -- The road to the AFC championship will run through the Mile High City. The Denver Broncos secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC by routing Kansas City 38-3 and New England also gets a first-round bye following its 28-0 shutout of Miami.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Atlanta already had wrapped up No. 1 seed in the NFC and San Francisco joined the Falcons in earning first-round byes. The Niners beat Arizona 27-13 to finish 11-4-1.

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -- The Washington Redskins earned their first NFC East title since 1999 by beating Dallas 28-18 last night. Rookies Robert Griffin III ran for one score and Alfred Morris carried 33 times for 200 yards and three TDs.
