NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Dallas Cowboys by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
DALLAS COWBOYS (14)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 15) -- Win after teammate's death more impressive than opening night romp at Giants.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 15) -- Can't say the Cowboys have stopped competing for Jason Garrett.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 15)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 13) -- Injury to Dez Bryant (finger) comes at the worst possible time as they have themselves back in the playoff picture.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 14) -- Dramatic and emotional comeback win in Cincinnati for the Cowboys, who are still mourning the loss of practice squad player Jerry Brown. Tony Romo's comeback may have saved the season.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 14) -- WR Dez Bryant has taken over the Cowboys passing game with seven TD catches in the last five games. But he has a fractured finger and his season could be done. That would be a huge blow to the Cowboys' playoff hopes.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 12) -- The Jay Ratliff-Jerry Jones episode proves the Cowboys are determined to fight to the finish.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 13) -- They showed heart and resolve, ingredients that had been in short supply.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 14) -- Dallas has won three of the last four, but things could get rough if Dez Bryant is out with a hand injury. An angry Steeler team is coming to town this week.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 14) -- The Cowboys had a lot on their hearts and minds and managed to find a way to win.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 14) -- Just like Kansas City the week before, Dallas showed impressive resiliency in the face of off-field tragedy with a comeback win in Cincinnati.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 14) -- Could they ride a wave of emotion all the way to the postseason?
