PROVO, Utah - Brigham Young and Virginia have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
The schools announced Wednesday that they will meet at Virginia on Aug. 31, 2013, then play at BYU on Sept. 20, 2014.
They last met in a home-and-home series in 1999 and 2000, with Virginia winning the first game at Provo, 45-40, and BYU winning the following year at Virginia, 38-35, in overtime.
The only other time the schools met was at the 1987 All-America Bowl in Birmingham, Ala., where Virginia won, 22-16.
