WASHINGTON (AP) -- George Washington University is getting ready to host 42 high school students attending a journalism camp.
The six-day "JCamp" begins on Friday and ends next Wednesday. The group of participating students was selected from hundreds of applicants and attends the camp for free.
The program has graduated more than 450 students since beginning in 2001. It is organized by the Asian American Journalists Association, though students attending the program come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
This is the second time JCamp has been held on the campus of George Washington University.
