SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Lower construction costs have resulted in an unexpected balance in the building fund at Spokane Public Schools.
The Spokesman-Review ( http://is.gd/H1NIf4) reports the district is considering starting some construction projects early.
Spokane has nearly $48 million in undesignated bond funds.
The school board will meet Wednesday afternoon to consider a plan to push up updates and additions at North Central High School and Mullan Road Elementary.
