ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler has a campaign manager.
Gansler announced Friday that Carrie Glenn will be on his campaign team. While Gansler has not formally declared his candidacy, he is widely expected to run for governor.
In a statement, Gansler says he looks forward to working with Glenn to communicate his vision to make Maryland a state where everyone has an opportunity to find a job, get a good education and live in safe communities.
Gansler also praised Glenn for success in running statewide grassroots campaigns.
In Montana, Glenn oversaw the campaign that led to the re-election of U.S. Sen. Jon Tester and Gov. Steve Bullock.
In 2011, Glenn worked on Kentucky races, where Democrats won five of six constitutional offices and Gov. Steve Beshear won.
