Heat-related deaths in Maryland reach 18

BALTIMORE - Maryland health officials say a total of 18 people have died of heat- related causes in the state.
Eight deaths were reported Saturday through Monday. They included two out-of- state residents who died in Harford and Prince George's counties.
A total of 34 people died last year in Maryland of heat-related causes.
