Police looking for teen’s rape suspect in Woodbridge

WASHINGTON — Police in Prince William County are looking for help identifying a suspect in the rape of a 17-year-old girl.

The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 near Powell’s Creek Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive in Woodbridge. The victim tells police she was walking home when a man she didn’t know approached her and forced her into a wooded area where he raped her.

On Oct. 14 a friend took the victim to a local hospital and police were called.

The suspect is described as a man, possibly Hispanic or black, around age 30. He stands 6 feet tall, weighs around 200 pounds and has a medium build and complexion. His hair is short and “medium dark.” At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark hoodie.
