NOKESVILLE, Va. - Authorities say a substitute teacher in Prince William County is accused of exchanging inappropriate messages with a student.
Police say 28-year-old Richard Earl Teller, of Haymarket, was arrested Tuesday. Teller is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old female student at Brentsville High School.
Authorities say the communications began in February. Investigators did not specify the nature of the messages.
Teller has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor by a custodian and the use of a communication system to facilitate certain offenses with a minor. He was being held on $10,000 bond
