GAINESVILLE, Va. - Prince William County Police are investigating a missing hard drive that contains the personal information of elementary school students.

The hard drive, which disappeared from Glenkirk Elementary School, contains names, addresses, grades and screening information of students. The drive does not contain the student's social security numbers.

Police are trying to determine whether the drive has been misplaced or stolen. They do not have any indication the children's information has been used for criminal activity.
