Man with toddler robbed in Annandale area

WASHINGTON – A man taking his toddler out of his vehicle was robbed at gunpoint Friday in the Annandale area of Fairfax County, police say.

Fairfax County police say two suspects with a weapon ordered the man to hand over his money in a parking lot in the 4500 block of Commons Drive at about 11:30 p.m.

After speaking briefly to the man, police say the suspects fled the scene.

Both suspects are described as black men between 18 and 25 years old. Police say one was tall and muscular, clean-shaven with short hair, while the other was thin with a short goatee and light complexion. Police say the second suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
