W.Va. couple finds Arlington man's stolen class ring a decade later

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A West Virginia couple pulling weeds in their garden discovered a Virginia man's class ring that was stolen a decade ago.

Susan and Randal Custer of Huntington at first thought it was Randal Custer's recently lost wedding ring. But when they cleaned it, they found it was Scott Sina's 1995 Washington & Lee University class ring.

The Herald-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/110Ppc6 ) reports that the Custers' grandson, Josh Engelbrecht, traced the ring to Sina, who is now attending seminary in Arlington, Va.

Engelbrecht says Sina told him he had lived in Huntington for a short time in 2003. The ring was taken during a burglary, along with other possessions.

The Custers say they plan to mail the ring to Sina.
