A man has been arrested after a reported bank robbery at a PNC Bank branch in Ballston.
The PNC Bank at the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Glebe Road was reportedly robbed just past 9:45 a.m.
According to scanner traffic, a customer followed the bank robbery suspect out of the bank and was able to provide a description that police used to track the suspect down just blocks away. The suspect was arrested on the 900 block of N. Stuart Street, at or near the Ballston Metro station. Police are now investigating whether the suspect ditched a disguise while trying to make his getaway.
