HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- A Hagerstown teenager who died earlier this year in a single-car crash will be honored as part of a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year's Day.
Quinn Hoover died in March, and the 17-year-old's family donated his organs after he died. The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown (http://bit.ly/UeBZjI) reports the Washington County Technical High School student will be one of more than 70 organ donors honored on the float.
The float, called Journeys of the Heart, will feature a picture of Hoover made out of plant materials. Hoover's parents will be going to California to help decorate the float. Hoover's family says his organs helped save three lives.
